5 Wine Country Fall Decorating Ideas on a Budget

1- Wine Barrel’s-  They are great as a table, or just sitting around your yard with plants on them.  I have several around my yard that my husband put a finish on and they look great year around.  I love them with pumpkins on them.

2- Pumpkins- They are super fun.  I love the little white ones that you get from Trader Joes.  They are like 69 cents and look good scattered around some bigger ones.  I personally am a sucker for the the teal colored ones if you can find them.Screen Shot 2018-10-08 at 11.30.36 AM

3- Manzanita branches- One year I made my husband go with me to cut some branches off Manzanita trees.  They turn black after you cut them and look awesome with lights on them.  I wrapped them around my porch post’s and put really cool purple lights around them . They almost looked like eyes in the dark.Screen Shot 2018-10-08 at 11.28.35 AM

4- Mason Jars and Fairy Lights- These two things are so awesome in any season but especially are fun in the fall.  It gets dark early enough that you can really enjoy them.  I love to get the solar powered fairy lights and string them along the fence, stuff them in jars, and just put them everywhere.  I can not seem to get enough light in the fall and winter time.image_561156903547951

5- Straw Bales, These are great, you can pick them up at feed stores and other such places.  I like to put pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks around and on top of them.  They are great right up until Christmas time.  Even some of those solar fairy lights would be cool.  Once you are done with them, break them up and use them for mulch on your vegetable garden.  The straw is great for keeping in moisture.  We need that here in California.  Make sure you get straw and not hey as the hey tends to grow grass.

This is my Dream Porch~ It is so beautiful….             I found this picture on pinterest….
